There are few other examples of electrical components, concealed away in the depths of the most modern of equipment that
on the outside seemed to have changed so little since their invention, as the X-ray tube. This is due to the fact that
form as always obeyed function and all the extreme physical conditions, the secret of its continued development is
however concealed in the smallest of unseen details. 

Since the companys formation in 1946 in Leverkusen, Germany (approx. 30 km from Wilhelm Conrad Röntgens birthplace) all
complex processes concerning ultra-high vacuum have been continuously improved upon, with the constant aim of attaining
the highest of quality.
