In the international competition for investments and qualified personnel, attractive locations, offers of industrial and
office space are key criteria.

A perfect example is the Rheinauhafen, Cologne‘s new office and residential location on the bank of the Rhine. Most
striking are the three Kranhäuser (Crane Houses) – “Kranhaus 1” was honoured with the MIPIM-Award 2009 as the best
business centre.

The other objects also impress with their architecture – for example, the RheinauArtOffice, Microsoft’s new NRW
headquarters in Cologne – or the respectful handling of historic structures in the former port area, such as the
Siebengebirge, a former warehouse complex, with its high-quality residential offer.
