Conversion and extension of an old machine factory for an inhabited collection of contemporary art
With the microcosm of the SOPHIE-GIPS-HÖFE, the clients were able to realise their idea of making their inhabited collection accessible to the public in an ambience that makes it possible to experience the natural connection between business and culture, as well as living and working with contemporary art.
Open on Saturdays, the inhabited SAMMLUNG HOFFMANN begins with ZERO and Arte Povera of the 60s and 70s and extends to today's artists and works that have just been created.
